Apparently a giant stomping on you is the equivalent of a Hornet Sting...

This card really isnt as bad as everyone is making it to be. Decent pick in limited although it is in the RotE limited with other big creatures aplenty

"No, Wizards. Homelands is the set you were supposed to print bad cards in...."
Don't you mean The Dark?

Hey if your opponent has X/1 creature out, this will stomp on it and then stay as a 4/5 beater. Stylish way to kill a pesky creature. Maybe a sideboard card in an excellent ramp deck? If you cant afford Inferno Titan of course.

"I find it amusing that everyone in R&D loved this card, and yet as of writing this there isn't a single positive comment about it in gatherer."
That's a very, very polite way to put it...

This is from a Latest Developments article about the uncommons in RotE:
"BT 12/16: Another playtest favorite. So many fun stories from that silly 1 damage.
TML 1/9/2009: Another adorable red card. I just want to go and hug all of them.
MP 3/9: Lots of cards in the set that make people smile. :)
DB 4/2/2009: "OOPS A PEBBLE FELL OFF MY HEAD. SORRY, LI'L GUY DOWN THERE"
AF 5/21: It's like I'm reading Savor the Flavor!
All Magic sets have cards that are internally controversial, but they also have cards that everyone falls in love with. This is what a multiverse record looks like when a card is loved. If I remember correctly, only the creature type and name changed on this card from prior to these Multiverse comments to print. That's impressive!"

Thank god it's uncommon so I don't have to pull too many of it from packs...

Razor Boomerang is far worse than this. This can help you win, albeit for way too much mana. Razor Boomerang won't, ever.

Is it me or are there A LOT of uncommons in this set? Looking through some of the cards I feel like wizards took a bunch of commons and made them uncommon to dilute your chances of getting actually good cards. I've read so many uncommons that under-whelmed me like this one in this set.
