This card may look like an expensive "win more" option, but Equip decks can make it stupidly cheap (thank you Puresteel Paladin) and it all but guarantees that you'll be wearing down your opponent's creatures whenever they try to stem the tide rather than the other way around. Add in the fact that this is really synergistic with Kusari-Gama or anything that gives trample and your opponent will need some serious weenie and artifact hosing effects to fight back.

I agree. I probably wouldn't go too much higher than the overall cost(s) of this card though with Puresteel Pal it makes a huge difference or even in later game when you can afford to tap whatever Land is kickin around though I've definitely been in situations where I've only got one or two creatures available and then the card doesn't seem too grand haha either way, I like the card.
