To a red mage whose mind courses with red thoughts and red feelings, this is a Null Rod.
Red walls are an interesting thing overall. Early Magic has them destroying walls left and right whether it's with a Dwarven Demolition Team, Word of Blasting or a Tunnel. And that makes sense! Walls don't do anything. They don't kill your opponent. They don't blow up anything that's in your way. They aren't any sort of expression of emotion, passion, or chaos. They sit there and prevent your opponent from attacking you. Who cares if your opponent is attacking you if you're a red mage? You're better than they are! They'll be dead before you're bloodied and you can take some pain. At least with pain you're feeling something!
Sure, it gives your soldiers haste. Red does that. But when you do that, this card isn't even acting as a wall! If this co... (see all)

Fantastic card for a reprint, although I really wish this guy had haste himself, flavour-wise it would be hilarious, and also it would then be a wall with haste...which is all sorts of silly. Fits {R} like a glove.
