Great for use with Tainted Strike and Doubling Season, since the first mentioned card gets a creature +1/+0 and the infect ability until end of turn, and the other card doubles the amount of Poison Counters that produce. This would get the power of Pathrazer of Ulamog to 10, and the fact it cannot be blocked except by 3 or more creatures (the Annihilator 3 ability will help) will make your opponent lose, since at least 10 Poison Counters are needed to make a player lose.

@Jannissary
Well, Progenitus has protection from everything, so it cant be blocked...
I like that you can use this in reanimator-deck unlike other eldrazi.

Obviously if you have Ulamog or Kozelik, play them over this, but they're Mythic and really expensive. If you're not doing tournaments this guy is fine.

The reasons you would choose this over Ulamog's Crusher are varied, but there's a few straightforward ones.
Believe it or not, sometimes you like to block, and Ulamog's crusher is occupied on any turn but the first.
The evasion pretty much prevents chump blocking.
He annihilates for one more than Ulamog's crusher.
Overall, more versatile, but a bit slower.

Having seen what an opponent's well placed, kicked Rite of Replication can do, I will never play this card again. Or Shivan Dragon for that matter.

In my experience, the best eldrazi candidate for early-game reanimation. Also one of the best eldrazi for attacking alongside another eldrazi. Even more than the 9/9 body might indicate, this is a huge resource-drain for your opponent.

The Pathrazer is a finisher in my green mana-excel deck. You simply can't contend with annilator 3 unless you get rid of him ASAP. Forcing a triple block is just gravy on the mashed oppoment that will soon be made, thanks to him.
