Well your opponent will just take the single damage point when you attack with that guy unless there is an irresistible prey, although it's an interestingly good one-time blocker against a fattie.
But i agree, that's kind of a strange Zombie.
Well, i rather have an Escaped Null than a Mindless Null nontheless.

@JWalks82: Actually, 4, it only gets +5/+0 if it's blocked...

Doesn't really need the Tunneler.
If you need to stall for a bomb (like a few turns to drop an Eldrazi) he can stay at home threatening to block + more life gain.

Funny how it works against the Goblin Tunneler sub-theme. I loved Bestial Fury, and I'll love this. In the same deck with Reckless Ogre!

Strange for a zombie but nice.

@Jwalks
How does that work with a sorcery that gives the thing unblockable and +1/0. Even with the rebound, all joo got is 6 health and damage.
Thinking about it, it makes Ichorclaw Myr look silly although I still love it over this thing.

At first I thought it wasn't all that spectacular, but then I noticed "Lifelink". This guy is rather expensive, but everything is more expensive in this set. I like how his ability can be used offensively as pseudo-evasion, while defensively he can create unproductive attacks for your opponent.

What about Sword of Vengeance? He becomes a 3/2 that become a 8/2 with first strike, vigilance, and trample.
