This is a great card, but requires the right situation, including lots of mana; and somebody in a position to lose. The other card I like in these situations is the Magister Sphinx.

I run one of these in a casual deck with Phyrexian Unlife, Dark tutelage, Phyrexian arena, and Delaying Shield. Needless to say, those who don't run enchantment removal tend to soil themselves in rage.

This card practically defines 'style points' magic. Once in a while Wizards makes a terribly uncompetitive card that enables a risky, difficult, overcosted win combo, because a few Johnny types like proving they can win with it.

I'm very fond of combining Wall of Blood and Fling in janky casual combo-ish decks, and the problem I notice most is that my opponents, not being idiots, try to get my life total down as low as they can before I can hit them with it. So I'm often at the lowest life after a few turns, which makes my blood-fling kind of underwhelming.
But with this, I can pull everyone down to my level! Whee hee hee!

Best thing about this card is Sorin giving you the finger in the art.
