My favorite GreenBlue strategy = evasive creatures of all sizes.
I believe the sound I made when I saw this card was "EEEEEEE!"
Silly name, though. "Invisimancer" just seems lazy, creatively speaking.

2/1 with evasion. That always was more than playable in limited. It's hard to beat that kind to evasion, and it brings even more evasion on CITP. Evasive creature is evasive, i guess.

I wanted to compare this creature to equivalent component cards (re: Cadaver Imp ), but I had some difficulty.

The closest I can say is that he's a Coral Merfolk + an Infiltrate, but that's not really true, as Coral Merfolk isn't unblockable. In fact, if you look for 2/1 1Blue creatures, only a few have evasion, and they each have a drawback (however slim).

Actually, this conclusion just led me to like him more. This + Infiltrate + one bonus point of power is well worth the cost, IMO. A solid common.

This one's also a Human Wizard rather than an Illusion Warrior like Phantom Warrior which just became more relevant thanks to Lord of the Unreal. Even so, unless I was playing an Illusion deck, I'd almost always choose this card. Not sure it'll ever see the light of a Top 8, but it has sure done enough damage in casual for me!

The cornerstone of my unblockable deck. Makes my scroll thieves unblockable, too, so I get some card advantage.
