Interestingly enough, unlike Overrun his ability can be used on defense as well. Seeing as he does not need to tap to use it, it can also be used multiple times if you have the mana for it.

Originally, when I first got this guy, I managed to make room for him in my Elf ramp deck, mostly as a back up plan in case my ramping wasn't going anywhere, I could just Green Sun's Zenith him out and beat face. However, after a few games with him, I realized this guy is deadly. And while he's still primarily a back up plan, he alone has won me more games than I can count. This guy shouldn't be underestimated.

Ezuri is not very good with Eladamri, Lord of Leaves, the regenerate ability is targeted, and Eladamri gives shroud.
