Metalcraft can be oddly color intensive. This guy I guess can be avoid the colored cost if you get him into the grave but it's sort of something you have to plan around.

Makes Artifact Lands a must-have in my Crosis Reanimator EDH. Doubly so for Flayer of the Hatebound.

This card would be perfect even if it didn't have that insane metalcraft ability which can be abused very easily. This should be a model of all phoenixi and I for one appreciate it.
