I believe there is a Brotherhood of Steel Paladin named Talus in Fallout.

4 for a 3/4 with temporary lifelink is enough of a sale; permanent +1/+1 Ally trigger and widespread temporary lifelink is just icing on the cake.

@kronos539
You are in fact wrong, lifelink is not cumulative.
From the Comprehensive Rules: (and sorry for being a rule-junkie)
"702.13e Multiple instances of lifelink on the same object are redundant."
Ergo; no double or quadrouble lifelink. But this guy still kicks some serious butt

Jwari Shapeshifter could just clone him. Kazandu Blademaster could attack and block after that. Pretty much worth it for 4 mana.

There are exactly 5 decent white Allies in Standard right now: Hada Freeblade, Kazandu Blademaster, Ondu Cleric, Kabira Evangel, and this guy. Add in Honor of the Pure and Join the Ranks and you've practically got a deck.

When I first saw him, I was like, "omg I need to get 4!" and now I have 4. Took a lot to get 3 of them off my friend. Traded an Apocalypse Hydra for 2 of them then a Sadistic Sacrament for one. Then I traded a Thought Hemorrhage to my other friend for the last one. I'm quite happy with them overall and quite happy that I traded for them.

This guy is amazing. Usually, when playing against another aggro deck, my life total will be almost gone by the time I put him on the field, but when I do, holy hell! I've gone from 2 life to over 20 in the first turn he arrived! This guy is a beast, run at least 2 in your ally deck and you'll never regret it.
