No reason to play this over Guul Draz Vampire. The extra power isn't that great if you're losing intimidate. Even so, neither of them will see much tournament play when things like Bloodghast and Vampire Lacerator are always going to be preferable.

Not bad, additional fuel for the vampire beatdown. As others have mentioned, I'd rather take Guul Draz Vampire and have the evasion, but a 4/2 for 2CC under the right circumstances never killed anyone either.

Usually better then Guul Draz Vampire and usually worse then Child of Night when your opponent is above ten. Pretty much the other way around when they get to ten or lower. Think of this card as a medium, not great at either role, but it can do both.
