THE BOUNCER!!! Easily the most badass card, just beccause of his effect and the artwork hahahaha. Me and my friends consider this card a classic lmao

Very solid common, I use to play him in my UG Madness deck with Guilded Drake and it works incredibly well.

This card always have been extremely strong. It stops many combos and mana acceleration, and I've exploited comes into play effects of Scrivener to reclaim counterspell myself. It is very cruel as the win condition of that deck involves a discard engine, kill enemy creatures by sending them back to their hand and force them to discard, while cleaning the opponent's field with Recoil, Glowing Anemone and Rishadan Cutpurse. Enemy permanents are taken down one by one while I'm protected by a counterspell at hand. Opponent only lose when they have no permanents and no cards in hand, with my Saprazzan Outrigger as finisher.

He is actually very good. Costs only 2 mana, and can return any creature, including himself, back to owners hand a instant speed. Sure, discarding a card is quite a cost, but can also help in certain decks, like maybe blue-black reanimator or something. Definately a solid card.

Had to give him a race type that is in Mercadian Masques, Merfolk fit his appearance better then any other option, and it's better then making him another damn human.

Best bouncer ever!
Repetable bounce (on opponent's creatures) is rarely seen, and never on a common card: this is the only one (as of january 2012)!
