The problem is, this effect has always been cheap. Really cheap. Cue Tormod's Crypt and even Nihil Spellbomb. This card's only real advantage is the surprise, the ability to slap down an opponent's strategy after they overextend, but even then...bleh.

Seems great against Life from the Loam. Can be tutored up by Mystical Teachings and cast for free after the opponent dredged Life from the Loam that turn.
