I haven't played with this, but is it really that good? I mean it sets you back a land, so really it only makes Eldrazi spells cost 1 less. Eldrazi Temple is better and cheaper too.

As much as it irritates me that they printed this in Worldwake when it clearly belongs in RoE (if it doesn't belong there, then it shouldn't exist), I would be willing to forgive that if the search ability was either cheaper (maybe 4-5 mana) or let you play the card you searched for. I'd run one of these if I could dig out my Eldrazi Monument or a Darksteel Colossus, but seven mana just to add it to my hand isn't worth it.
EDIT: So, I feel kind of stupid now. I've already traded for two, and wouldn't hesitate to get two more. I am completely on board with the Eldrazi.

This is tricky. I like it, but the fact that it doesn't actually add any mana to your mana pool makes this card kind of not a land, and yet the eye of Ugin sort of IS a land.... maybe it should have been a colorless artifact? Oh, and I think Socialexperiment's contradicting comment and edit is funny.
EDIT:
This is awesome. The sheer power of casting an artisan of Kozilek for and then bringing my discarded Pathrazer back... well, all I can say is:
CAN'T FIGHT THE WORLDWAKE POWER!!!!!
Oh, and no, the Eldrazi are beating the $%^ out of Zendikar at the end of the book. Nissa screwed it up.

If you scroll all the way to the bottom, there is a monstrosity in the picture that I would believe to be an "Eldrazi"...
And if so, then this card is gonna be sought after.

I wish the cost reduction ability was a mana ability, but for what it reduces it's pretty cool.

It's very flavourful card I guess it's important for plot and sooner or later will become good with Eldrazi spells. This deserves Mythic!

Works even better with artifacts than Eldrazi, thanks to affinity, especially if you run Mycosynth Golem and use this as a Darksteel Colossus dispenser like I do.

Oh man, I may have been hurt by Steamflogger Bossin the past, but I'm such a sucker for cards that give a hint of the future. I'm ready for some big things when Rise of the Eldrazi comes around in May. Fun fact: anybody who thinks this card's name looks familiar should take a peek back at Future Sight's Ghostfire.
For now, the activated ability's pretty expensive for what you're getting, but you can still tutor for fun things like Darksteel Colossus, Platinum Angel, Phyrexian Dreadnought, Sundering Titan...and as for the first ability, I can't wait to see what kind of power the Eldrazi bring to the (more-accessible-thanks-to-this-card) table.
Just realized this is also one of the few exceptions to the general "Lands tap for 1" rule.
