Turn 7-8, with all the eldrazi temples out and eye of ugin, I can tutor with 7 forests, then play kozilek or ulamog for 8 or 9.
Incredible card in the right deck ^^

@Arachibutyrophobia
Except for the fact that it's a land, which means you can't play four on the first turn even if it weren't legendary.

I'm a little surprised at the low rating of this card. Then again, it does have a bit of a niche use.
For me, it's an indispensable part of my Azusa, Lost but Seeking EDH deck. Being able to reliably tutor out Kozilek and Ulamog, as well as Duplicant and Steel Hellkite (note that you can tutor for any colorless creature spell) is a strategy that's won me many games.
4.5/5

Hilarious in draft. By which I mean, useless. But them's the shakes.

Tutor up a colorless creature. And here I was going around thinking it only tutored up colorless creatures with CMC higher than 8 or something. Good lord.

@Lithl: that bastard is always behind absolutely everything, isn't he?

My friends use Eye of Ugin to reduce casting costs of artifact spells (their argument "Artifacts are colorless") - I say they're NOT ELDRAZI and it's against the rules. Who's right?

Just so y'all know, this is the only real mythic rare (i.e, not just from the vaults) land.

They just had to specify that the mana could only be spent on colorless Eldrazi didn't they? My, poor, poor changelings.

It's hilarious to me that this was printed before ROE. Like... how would you feel cracking this as a mythic?
