With Skill Borrower, you don't have to pay his mana cost or worry about his low toughness. Just use library manipulation to keep him on the top of your library.

No. The text says "becomes 7/7 until end of turn." If you make a 7/7 a 7/7... end result is that it's now a 7/7. you'd need to give it +7/+7 for it to stack.

Sleet is spot on. This card is a game winner if you cast it smartly. As long as it doesn't get removed from game most creatures are near indestructible. With all the tramble that green has you can easily and cheaply swing for the win next turn.

Question: I pay 1 on a 2/2 creature to make it 7/7... The opponent casts a bolt in response to kill it... I pay 1 in response to make it 7/7 again (payed two mana overall)... The creature survives, correct?
