Interesting how the horse fell before ever hitting the wire.
My guess is it realized how terrible its card was, and died from depression.

Um yes the use of this card is pretty limited but in formats where it's legal so is Sun Quan, Lord of Wu
and so it's actually decent sideboard if you know the meta, most people would rather use Beast Within at this point but I don't think this is a card deserving less than 2 stars, it's targeted removal towards a specific type of evasion, similar to plummet IMO, still not too great but not as bad as people are acting like it is, especially considering that it was printed in portal

Plummet: 2 Mana to kill any one of 1400 + Creatures with Flying at Instant speed = 3.56
TripWire: 3 Mana to kill any one of 28 Creatures who have Horsemanship at Sorcery Speed = 1.5
