To me, this feels like a cousin to Mind's Eye and I pretty much consider it a staple in Commander. It does a wonderful job of dealing with those situations where you draw a land each turn on turn 14, 15 and 16 and end up doing nothing. For an even stronger engine, play it together with Crucible of Worlds and fetchlands like Flooded Strand.

This is to Horn of Greed as Electropotence is to Pandemonium.
the power level of the cards goes down quite a bit just for a 1-sided play.

Really wish the casting cost on this would've been 3. As is, it's sort of a green or white-only card. What other color has 4 mana to drop on this thing? That said, this is an amazing draw card for use with green.

Doubt it.

The cmc should've been 3. OR the trigger should've cost 1. As is, you have to pay 6 mana to draw your first card, which is a lot.

as an uncommon as is i could have understood, but i expect more power from a rare personally. other then that, the look of that artifact from the air kind makes me want the cards for free, and the card to be 6 mana.

Seriously, they should stop using Jayemdae Tome as the baseline for these cards. What about make a 3-costed, 3 activation Tome in the next core set so we can start getting reasonably powered Tome cards?

With two Lotus Cobra out on the field, you can keep on landfall and draw for no real cost. Can be broken when combined with Oracle of Mul Daya aswell with a double (or quadruple with fetches) landfall a turn.... lots of mana and cards in hand.

6 colorless mana for one card, 8 for 2, 10 mana for 3, 12 mana for 4. This card never is worth it.
