You know Underground Sea, for a thousand-dollar card whose power level is second to none of your kind and a staple of the most feared color combination (both for its potency in-game and its moral bankruptcy flavor-wise), your text box is... kind of adorable.

That's the way the Magic market works. They print new stuff and old stuff is rendered useless, or the reprint old things and it decreases the price. (or sometimes increases- if put back in standard)
At least with these, the price will go back up. ME4 won't be on sale forever, you know, and the demand for this card- one of the best cards in vintage formats- remains high because Wizards wouldn't print a stronger land. When powerful creatures are suddenly outdated, they are out for good, and retain value only thanks to some demand due to nostalgia.
And of course shocklands went down, you must have known they would rotate out of extended eventually.

@Justice1337- it's not a specific deck, but the fact that the most powerful cards are Blue and Black.
Look at the Vintage Restricted list- you won't find much Red, Green, or White.
Ancestral Recall, Time Walk, Timetwister, Necropotence, Yawgmoth's Will, Yawgmoth's Bargain, Demonic Tutor, Tinker, etc. are cards *many* people want to use in their Vintage decks.
@Claybird- you're right about a one-in-a-million find;
Booster packs up until Ice Age/4th were semi-transparent,
and the less scrupulous resellers can cheat
and make sure the boosters they sell don't contain anything valuable.

Jeez people what's wrong with you. As it currently stands gatherer says this is the worst rated card in masters edition 4 at 5/5 stars and zero votes. That's right according to the community this is the single worst card in the set.
Edit- looks like the situation has been rectified.

This seems to be the most expensive dual land on MODO. Even Watery Grave is more expensive than some of the enemy colored duals. What vintage deck makes UB so popular?

Now that would probably annoy some collectors even more than it is unlikely that Wizards would ever print this.
Still, i think it would be cool as hell :D
(The original Dual Lands are on the Reserved List, but Wizards can still print them in special sets that don't make them legal in Standard again.)
Having them with top-notch artwork in the new frame, maybe even with a special textbox design (for example in a fashion of Basic Lands these days, like having two large halves of each accordant mana symbol next to each other) would certainly make more than just a few players wet their pants.
(Of all dual lands, I posted this comment here on the talk page of Underground Sea since it's probably the most popular one.)
