Red's take on Timetwister. Doesn't make it to the P9 but it sure is close.

@land_comment ...Really? Did you read the card? Wheel of Fortune can get you cards when you have none...and forces your opponent to discard. Winds of Change only gets you different cards from the ones you have, with no discard disadvantage for your opponent. When played right, Wheel of Fortune can get you 7 cards from nothing, and make your opponent lose 7 cards, and possibly draw crap. Winds of Change only shuffles everything up for no good reason. Read before you post.

I got really excited, until I realized it was banned.
Then I felt like a moron for not realizing a card this phenomenal would clearly be banned.
Then I decided I might make an EDH deck just to run this.

The only reason this card isn't on the P9 is because it's red.

I Love this card. A few years ago when I started working on a new version of Vercursion (A type of deck that used to be AWESOME before the restriction of Fastbond and other nice stuff, but, either way, can still work) and anyway, so, I'm working on this deck, and I'd been at it for months tracking down exactly what I needed, and then working out how I'd play. I ended up making like 5 versions of the deck, and one of them had Black in it, so, I made it with this:
4 - Underworld Dreams
4 - Verduran Enchantress
1 - Wheel of Fortune
1 - Fork
And then a couple Twincast and Ali from Cairo and Platinum Angel and started working out what I wanted to do.
I went to the game shop I played at all the time, and brought it with me. Well, it was a particularly busy night at the shop, and I had a couple decks with me, including this one. I went with my Wife who was playing a deck She had made, and then my Cousin was there with a few of his decks, a... (see all)

@lands_comment winds of change draws the same number of cards in your hand, so winds of change come close on turn 1 drawing you 5, but at the point you should have mulliganed. This card is miles better.
