Alright amigos, now that it was re-released a few years ago in Angels vs Demons, lets not forget that this card is *vintage only*. That should be a clear indicator of its power level, and as such it should be by and large mostly, if not entirely avoided in casual MTG. Yes, its the overall power of the deck that matters, not the power of the individual cards - however, a vintage-only power-level card like this gives a big boost, and shouldn't be required for a balanced deck. If your deck *needs* that kind of boost, you should work at fixing the deck rather than relying on vintage-only cards. If you still want this effect in a legacy-legal way, you can pay a little more and/or have a drawback (Diabolic Intent, Diabolic Tutor, Beseech the Queen, Grim Tutor).
Being able to find any card in your deck for 2 mana is too strong for casual. Don't be 'that guy' people!

This card was designed before they understood what this effect should cost. Its clearly overpowered today, and for that reason I give it a .5/5

At the rate Avacyn Restored spoilers are going....you know what this thing just might get another Reprint. As a Mythic, I would hope.
Of course, that might be too much to hope for- but seriously, go check out Gisela, Avacyn, and Griselbrand and you'll see why I think they almost could have. Stoneforge Mystic would make sense after THOSE spoilers. xD

This card is one of the most popular and well-known cards in all of Magic, and for good reason. ANY CARD FOR 2 MANA!!! ANY CARD YOU WANT, 2 MANA!!! Basically, 'nuff said.
