Art doesn't realy convey 'colossal' size. Large, yes, but not colossal.

Also, you know, the Annihilator and not needing to pay its mana cost again to untap it every turn are also somewhat of big deals.
I have an odd softspot for big creatures that you need to work to be able to use. I liked that they had downsides to them. You've got to get to and pay 9 mana into this guy to get a really big player, but that's not all, no sir, he's not just going to go off and win the game for you now, not necessarily. If the first attack didn't finish them, you're going to have to pay, and possibly get to, 9 mana again, to do another attack. Unless of course you're using Voltaic Keys, and other untapping effects.
