Baron. @#$%ing. Sengir.
Awesome. 5/5
Anyway, it is pretty good for colorless lifegain, as far as that goes, right? More than one step up from the ridiculously powerful Elixir of Vitality

Baron Sengir brings back memories of the good ole days. This card will also help decks that want to run Serra Ascendant.

5/5 for the flavor text alone. I can't be the only one patiently awaiting the Baron's return...

Baron Sengir quote raises my hopes that someday we'll return to Ulgrotha (Homelands expansion setting, ruled by the Baron).

400.3. If an object would go to any library, graveyard, or hand other than its owner’s, it goes to its owner’s corresponding zone.

However:

101.1. Whenever a card’s text directly contradicts these rules, the card takes precedence. The card overrides only the rule that applies to that specific situation. The only exception is that a player can concede the game at any time (see rule 104.3a).

Elixir's text says "Shuffle Elixir of Immortality and your graveyard into your library." Based on 101.1 making Exlir of Immortality override 400.3, a stolen Elixir from an opponent should go into your the deck.

Elixir should just be errated to say:

2, T : You gain 5 life. Shuffle Elixir of Immortality and your graveyard into thier owner's libraries.

What is this card's errata? Does its controller shuffle his or her graveyard into his or her library, then Elixir of Immortality's owner shuffles it into his or her library? Or does the owner do the entire action?

Baron Sengir should be remade as a Planeswalker, Nicol Bolas-style.

Oh, and Elixir's a pretty nifty card too. Read that ruling too. 2, trigger Voltaic Key's untap ability in response on Elixir with 1, then another 2 to tap Elixir again. 10 life for 5. I like.

Seems like great tech against graveyard hate, especially for decks playing Sun Titan and/or Emeria, the Sky Ruin. Instant speed protection against Bojuka Bog and Ravenous Trap. The life gain is just gravy :)
