Very useful with Energy Chamber and Arcbound creatures - we all know how annoying flying is when all you've got is a couple of Arcbound Stingers :C

if you have enough mana to split up its Pentavite you could use
Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker to revive him every turn

This+Blade of the Bloodchief+Krark-clan Ironworks means infinte mana. Couple that with, say, Disciple of the Vault for infinte damage, or Soul Warden for infinite health. Really awesome card.

Nor did anyone mention the stupid player tricks of blocking any fatty without trample/appropriate landwalk/unblockable/shadow for two mana continuously.

@Stille_nacht: As counter intuitive as it may be, Coat of Arms won't work like that because Pentavus isn't the same creature type as the tokens. However, it will give strong tokens :)

@Gwafa_Hazid: The Shirei combo isn't about returning the tokens, it's about returning Pentavus after making five tokens. Pentavus is a 0/0 without it's +1/+1 counters, and thus qualifies as a "creature with power 1 or less"

This+Blade of the Bloodchief+Runed Stalactite
Now, that's beefy.

This fella, Doubling Season, and the Krark-Clan Ironworks. Infinite Pentavites, Infinitely big Pentavus. Also, attach a Blade of the Bloodchief rather than play a Doubling Season, and you have the same thing.
Edit:
RE: Shamajotsi
Blade of the Bloodchief would work, as tokens hit the graveyard before they dissolve into the aether, but Shirei would not, because the tokens don't stay in the graveyard.
