A decent card, by any means.
The problem is that it's pretty simple to get around,
But once it hits the board it become something your opponent immediately needs to go for.
And, luckily, it's late-game enough to where most of the opponents will probably be top-decking.
With Scars coming soon, I see this guy getting potentially more lethal,
Not that Steel Overseer hasn't helped that along already.

What happens when you have one of these and an Abyssal Persecutor in play?

When you control both Platinum Angel and Abyssal Persecutor no one can win or lose. I wanted to make a deck using a play set of both of them just so I can go "You guys will never leave this game" *Evil smile.*

dude Ali from Cairo can only stop you from dieing from damage you can still die from loss of life and card like door to nothingness and Felidar Sovereign besides he is a 0/1 even cards like cunning spark mage can kill him.

Cards like this make Magic fun. Just when you think you're winning, your opponent plays this and the game gets interesting instead of repetitive.

I just won a game not too long ago when my bro had this out and was in negative life. Man-o'-War for the win!
