It's a doom cannon. It doesn't need another reason to exist.

Overcosted, but a decent fit for decks that need some kind of removal and an excuse to use all that mana.

Reminds me of such classics as Aladdin's Ring.
As with the aforementioned card, Cloudpost+Vesuva+Glimmerpost should allow you to make use of it a lot faster.

Ironically, this is the last card you'd want to use in this set against a certain Phyrexian Obliterator.

If it was without tap, or and tap, then it'd be so much more playable.
otherwise, it's a stale card that STILL can't kill Krosan Cloudscraper

Reminds me of when the Al Bhed and the Crusaders tried to kill Sin at the Mi'ihen highroad. It jut gets thiiiis close to being able to kill Eldrazi.
Also this is just really overpowered removal. It's fun. Shivan meteor sees play in my playgroup. Why not this? Though if you play it with spitemare I will kick you in the teeth.
Also epic art. You get a star for that alone. So tht's 2.5 stars :P

Swans of Bryn Argoll, I guess? Somewhat like paying for semi-Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur and using two separate cards: not as "gud."

Half the cost of Aladdin's Ring, three times the damage, same amount of playable ;)
