prob my favorite blue card in 11. and i have baby jace and frost titan. the advantage of tearing through your top deck is undeniable whether its on turn two or late game when u need something to get ahead. cant count the times ive sent three useless-at-the-time lands late game to the bottom.

I like the scry ability over Sage Owl. Good card I run a few in my mono blue control deck.

This is better than Sage Owl. With this you can get rid of land in the late game, or scour for land in the early game.

Whats that Sage Owl? You say you found 4 lands on top of the deck and you can't do anything about it? Ouch. Wish I could relate.

Find three lands on the top with Augury Owl: "Phew, that was a close one. Scry to the bottom!"
Find four lands on top with Sage Owl: "FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU--"
Seriously, I like this guy quite a bit better than his Sage brother. Sure, you don't get to see that fourth card, but in a deck where you're trying to dig, it's way too easy for Sage Owl to say "Sorry, you're screwed." Identical stats and cost seal the deal.
