Well, it's a White Snapping Drake. Should be quite good in limited.

Not that I've played with it yet, but this looks like it'll be a solid, solid limited card.

Love that art.
When I look at this card and Snapping Drake, I think of all the cool things that white can do with a creature like Assault Griffin in general (like pumping), and then I look at what Snapping Drake does for blue, which is that it is aggressive creature in a typically passive colour (by aggressive I mean higher P than T). Viewed through the lens of their respective colours, Assault Griffin and Snapping Drake are probably very different cards, but they also share that commonality between them. I like that about Magic.

Took me a while, but I just noticed what's going on in the bottom right corner. That's a man's jaw flying through the air as the griffin tears him a new one. Surprisingly (and humorously) brutal for a White card.

But I think it might be stronger in white than it ever was in blue!

Come on limited players, lets get the rating up a little higher for this well deserving creature. 3.5/5

White 3/2 creature with flying for only 4 CMC isn't that bad if you think about it. 3 damage by white each turn is pretty good plus white spells and enchantment can reinforce it's low toughness. Pay heed to my words, it will do you good.

@Eternal_Blue - comparison to baneslayer? is that a joke sir? this is clearly a vanilla card for limited use only. It served me quite well in my prerelease event, being one of the few common 3 power flyers.
