Real funny Wizards, putting this guy in the same set as infect.

I've always wondered how much the smallest possible indestructible creature would cost. And you have to think outside the set with this card. Darksteel Myr is a fantastic, cheap, durable frame to attach piles of equipment to. Imagine Sword of Vengeance, Worldslayer, and maybe some Bonesplitters or any of the dual-colored swords. This card has potential and must be worked with before it wins you the game.

Add enough equipment and anything can be good. This guy's only purpose seems to be to block Engulfing Slagwurm.

Clearly, he's meant to wield Worldslayer.

They realsed it in same format as infect for a reason
-Pros
Cheap ~ only costs 3
Colorless ~ any color(s) can use him
Resistant ~ survives board wipes, and most nukes
Chump Blocker ~ dosent die to normal combat damage
-Cons
Wither/Infect
Flying/Trample/Shadow/Unblockable
Black negitave removal (stabbing pain)
White exile removal (Condemn)
-Deck Suggestions
Myr Tribal
Equipment
Any deck that needs to fill a "wall" slot.
Shure it has some cons, but what cards dont? Solid card in my opinion 4.5/5

Didn't end up in the same set as Plague Stinger by accident. Mirrodin was boned from the start of the invasion.

Ok it's a 3 or 3,5/5, not a 5/5.
But this one needs (and has) friends in standard. For sur, one in the set, a Myr's one, Myr Galvanizer, and a construct old friend, Steel Overseer (a good friend to all the Myr Tribe!).
Not so bad with Echo Circlet... but vulnerable to infest... Decent.
