mindslaver and prototype portal, and yeah good luck lol.
if only there WAS still mana burn so you could mindslaver an enemy and then force them to mana burn themselves.

@ SocialExperiment, Getting caught up in your supervillainy is the purpose of Archenemy. If you can't do that, you're missing out on half the experience.
By the way, good luck with that Omni-Mindslaver plot.

@supershawn, mindlsaver, even while mana burn existed, stated that mana burn didn't exist.

I have an idea for a Loyalty ability on a Super Villain Planeswalker that is like this, except does not force you to screw yourself:
+4: Destroy target land. That land's controller adds three mana in any combination of colors to his or her mana pool.
This would be risky, but worth it, to play targeting either your own or your opponents' lands. Especially if your opponents happen to be low on cards, or you played a mana-leak. That extra mana is not guaranteed to be helpful to them. But since it sometimes would give them a free spell, it's ok that it turns all your lands into Black Lotuses. >:) A two-sided sword still, but one not as guaranteed to favor the opponents as this scheme, whose creative value outweighs its Development sharpness by a considerable amount.

I set this scheme in motion... into the wastebasket.
It really should have said "...you add to your mana pool one mana of any type that land produced. This mana does not empty from your mana pool as turns and phases end." Then it would have been cool.

I've entered this topic just to see if I understood correctly. And find out this scheme REALLY is stupid... Maybe if I get more and more cards maybe I'll find a nice combo to it...

Umm guys... time warp....
Freaking boss scheme if you use correctly.
I would do something like ramp up until I have enough to Enter the Infinite + Omniscience after I play this. Then drop everything I have and play Emrakul, the Aeons Torn. Also before I do this, I will play the scheme Every hope shall Vanish to rip counters out of their hands. Talk about evil and powerful

with the right cards it doesn't actually matter that your opponents get it, because you get it first, then the game ends. but usually, no.

Guys, I think the point is to bribe your opponents so they don't kill you and kill each other.

Well, the name is cool...
Combo's with an X-spell, but your opponents will gain many times the benefit, especially if there's 4 or more people playing.
