I seen someone use this to first-turn an Emrakul, the Aeons Torn. The second turn consisted of my team surrendering.

This card has the advantage of no downsides, but if you are a sadistically savvy player and you fine-tune your strategy (not your whole gameplan, just your strategic skill in general) to make the best use of it, "I Call On the Ancient Magics" is probably the most powerful card in the entire game. It's opportunity to be the ultimate bait-and-switch trap card is just stupid frakkin amazing.

i only gotten a "ghave, guru of spores" in play with this....made me go infinite but still my luck is horrid with this card.
