how come on Ivory Tower it's written as "four" but here it's "4"

Ah, for the heady days of youth, when nobody thought twice of a first turn of land, Sol Ring, and two Black Vices.
Or then there was the time I was getting crushed by a Black Vise and a Howling Mine, and had nothing but an Island and a Mountain in play. I desperately tried to shrink my hand by casting a Power Sink and Red Elemental Blast on each other. Wouldn't be allowed under current rules, of course, but my opponent let me get away with it (it didn't matter anyway).
Barring land screw or lucky first turns, though, The Rack was almost always better, since most folks end up emptying out their hands pretty quick anyway.

If you look at the oracle text for Ivory Tower you'll notice that it also reads "4" - they printed it as "four" on the card then corrected it in the oracle.
Life and damage are written out in numeral form, whereas amounts of cards and permanents are written in word form. That's why Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker deals "7 damage" to a player who then discards "seven cards"

@Lionhawk: Pardon me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the art resemble the head of a certain doll we all know very well?
The doll looks like its taken quite a beating though - only the head remains.. ahh well, what can you expect after all these years of abusing?
If my interpretation of the art is correct, then all I can say is that I love it. It's very flavorful to see the torn-off head still being tortured after all these years. Poor doll, what exactly did you do to deserve this kind of punishment?
