Nope. Serpent of the Endless Sea is better. I only need one card-Convincing Mirage-to let it attack, compared to three, and roughly 20% of the time I don't even need that. This one might start off bigger, but the SES will only get larger.
NoobOfLore, you better replace Dark Maze. That card is sh!t. I have a friend with a decent pinger deck that would be good if he'd take those out. Hell, I give him cards that are clearly better, but the stubborn bastard is attached to those walls. It's a Homelands card that isn't Serrated Arrows, no one should ever use it.

Can really be a beast in limited. Not a first pick, but definitely up there if you're running blue.

This is actually quite good for a common.
Seriously, if you play blue, you'll probably have at least 3 artifacts to help establish control.
this can help establish control against green. just make sure you get the 3 artifacts out first.

I'm sorry...
Is that a 5/7 for 5 in blue?
I think it is.
aha. Use silverskin armor on this guy, you're 2/3 of the way there already, now just grab a Bladed Pinions or a Flayer Husk or something, and you're set.

Good design. This guy was pretty brutal in sealed. As Mr Lauer put it, he'd hold down the fort while you waited to draw into your artifacts and bombs. 3/5

A 5/7 for 5 in artifact decks. I have been tempted, I'll admit.

Obviously not constructed material, but I remember this guy being much better than people initially realized in Scars limited.
