Oooh, right you are Kryptnyt. I went and looked and this is one of only two cleric creatures printed in the last 10 sets without another creature subtype. The other is Auriok Replica. MONO CLERIC DECK: ENGAGE!!!

This is one of the most underrated cards at our prerelease. Not the greatest card obviously, but there were sighs all around when this hit play.

To add to minus_prime's point, not only does this pair well with Doran, the Siege Tower, but put the both of those cards in a deck with Necroskitter, some Wither and Infect creatures, and you have quite the potent little deck.
