Aside from being a terrible Vampire Nighthawk, having a totally new creature type and officially the weirdest creature name in the entire game, what the *** is going on in that art? This card rubs me in so many wrong ways.

Also, Flense is a gross verb.
1. Slice the skin or fat from (a carcass, esp. that of a whale)
2. Strip (skin or fat) from a carcass

What I want to know is why is this guy is a gremlin when Phyrexian Gremlins are an ouphe? My head hurts.
