All is Dust, Proliferate + Carnifex Demon, Clone, kill his other creatures and consuming vapors, infect creatures, Dispense Justice if thrun attacks, a kicked Gatekeeper of Malakir, gomazoa, Memoricide or Sadistic Sacrament before he comes out, Sleep to neuter him for a couple turns, block with Wall of Tanglecord or wall of frost, Black Sun's Zenith, or play a second Thrun. And this is just in standard.

But in all seriousness, I really like this guy. Pulled one in the prerelease to great success. Nigh-unremovable, and a constant threat if you buff him. This card is crazy, but he isnt invincible. -1/-1 counters are his nightmare, and if your opponent has a Contagion Engine or somet... (see all)

Anyone else sorta feel sorry for the guy? I mean yeah, he's god damned inane and all...but he's all alone and stuff...
Also, what you can't see is that his cane...it's holding down a blue player who tried to get in the picture.

Yes, he is the last troll...on Mirrodin! Come on guys, think planes here. There are still trolls on other planes, so this won't be the last troll printed. Maybe in blocks set on Mirrodin, sure, but we will see more on other planes I'm sure.

Theres a good reason why this guy is named the last troll. THis guy is so elusive, i went through two boxes of MBs and still didnt get it. This card is still amazing even though he dies to Wrath of God, Damnation and infect. But come on people! All most all creatures die to mass removal. A card isn't bad just because it dies to mass removal like every other creature without Phasing or Indestructibly. This card tells blue to suck it, red to run away and cry, and even some of the best black to shove off. Perhaps I've gone off on a tangent but seriously, Baneslayerdies to removal and infect too.

Easiest way to kill him in blue is probably the legend rule. There's a decent amount of shapeshifters now.
