Great idea. Still unplayable garbage though.
In a deck that wins by dealing damage, the 2 life loss ain't good enough for that mana cost.
The mill? Unless you play a dedicated mill deck, milling your opponent will help him. And if you play a mill deck, the milling ain't effective enough.
And the poison: too slow. 8 mana for the first poison counter by this card is horrible.
So, great idea, funny card, but absolutely unplayable in any constructed deck.

The name Decimator Web is hilarious to me, for obvious reasons.
I could see this being an especially strong card in limited. Works equally well for both sides.

I agree that at first glance I think "Hey, I don't want to make them lose life AND get poisoned", but upon closer inspection, this doesn't look that bad.

I love it. Sure, three ways to win might be overkill, but the versatility is amazing, and the mill reduces their options, even if you have no actual intention of winning from it. I figure its place in standard is in a "barely infect" Blue splash Black, using Thrummingbird, Tainted Strike, and Corrupted Conscience.

I'd like to point out that the proliferate cost for a Contagion Clasp is 4; so this thing accomplishes (sorta) the same goal of poisoning as other cards. Plus think of the combination with Geth :D

This card is good in a two-headed giant game and you have never seen your partner's deck before. Even if is a mill, poisen or just regulair old damage. Other than that, you have to be kinda creative to get a good combo out.

Except you don't have to mill 60 cards to kill someone, more like 48. Also this card is horrible, it's a newb detector for sure, much like lifegain. Not often a card is terrible in limited, but this manages it pretty well.
