You can let this keep bringing Mindslaver back, ironically.

man, if this card was a 1/3 it would still be extremely powerful; and I'm not even thinking about the last ability yet.

Even the Phyrexians couldn't stop those incredible breasts.

@ Eternal Phi,
I wish you were right about using Birthing Pod with Perilous Myr to fetch Glissa, but I'm afraid you're wrong about getting the Myr back. First, you announce you're using Pod's activated ability; it goes on the stack. Then, you pay the costs, saccing the myr, which would put a triggered effect on top of the stack. Fetching Glissa is the last thing that happens in that scenario, so her triggered ability wouldn't happen. It's counterintuitive, I know, but that's what it looks like to me in the comprehensive rules, sections 602/603 I think..

Just tried her as a general in my dredge EDH deck. Really fun to play, even if she ended up costing as much as an Emrakul by the end of the game.

I agree, Richard_Hawk, Green Sun's Zenith makes her incredibly simple to play...especially with the way Green ramps mana. She can easily power landfall (Rampaging Baloths and Avenger of Zendikar love her) with the Horizon Spellbomb, she can recur other nasty artifacts (the aforementioned Capsule, Blazing Torch, Golden Urn), or she can be used to recur artifact creatures that have hit the graveyard.

Hey Glissa! How's that secret you found in the heart of Mirrodin treating you!?

How dare they infect Glissa! She who once had a planeswalker spark and singlehandedly destroyed Memnarch, and was the greatest warrior of all the elves. She was a hero of Mirroden, I supported the Mirran simply out of the hope that she would some day show herself again, and now that she has, I fear we are doomed.

Extremly powerful and vulnerable to removal.
You can fetch her with Green Sun's Zenith.
You can retrieve her with Noxious Revival.
Swiftfoot Boots and Darksteel Plate can protect her.
Since your opponent will focus fire on her, Livewire Lash is a solid choice to make your opponent pay for targeting her. You basically kill a creature of your opponent every time he targets her with a spell which happens to trigger her last ability before the spell affects her. Also, a 5/3 that your opponent will block with great difficulty kills pretty fast!
Sylvok Replica really shines along her side. A disenchant on two legs main deck (like Kor Sanctifiers) is stronger than it looks, especially if you have the means to retrieve it from your graveyard! If you destroy an artifact creature, you can immediately retrieve your Sylvok Replica/autocard... (see all)
