people act like the poison counter is a drawback. unless youre playing vs infect, youre not going to die from poison. games do not last 15 turns.
5/5, not as cool but imo more powerful than hand of the praetors. theres a reason pretty much ever monoblack infect runs two of these.

Basically its a big infectious Juzam Djinn (with stats at 8/10) that deals 2 damage to you every turn. As stated before
Well worth the posion counter for such a big infector

Huge bomb in sealed for me...Also, a respectable infect card that can drop turn 3!

Equip with Bonehoard for the win. Loving it! Plus the artwork looks like Aliens making it more awesome.

love it, only bad against another infect deck. just make sure to have a sacrifice engine handy, or else when you lose your momentum you may die.

Not sure if this is an automatic for-of in a dedicated infect deck. It seems to clog up the curve a bit when in the same deck as Hand of the Praetors.

I feel like this is the only newer phyrexian card that follows the phyrexian way of sacrificing something in order to gain more power.

Guys, forget using this in an infect deck. Those who said Hand of the Praetors is better are correct (for dedicated infect), but imagine 4 copies of this creature in a control deck. Assuming you aren't playing an infect deck, his drawback is negligible. Combine that with his 8/4 body, and you've got a beater better than Plague Sliver or Juzám Djinn.

I am very glad I chose to purchase this guy.
I felt like my B/G infect really needed some bigger, scarier Infect creatures mid-game, I was running Tangle Angler in his place...
Needless to say the deck has improved greatly. It is a bit open for chump blocks, but Unnatural Predation takes care of that.
