Average card at best, but you have got to love the flavor and name. Imagine a corpse-like leonin equipped with this thing stalking some innocent myr for its parts, than pouncing, killing it instantly. Fun to say too. Sounds like an undead Hobbes.

Should be a great limited pick.

half a ball lightning, twice the mana. Flame Javelin explains why its so expensive. one red= 2 colorless.

Its an expensive casting cost, but it has to be said- the equip is really cheap! 3 would have been reasonable. Point and laugh at Warlord's Axe and watch it mope away in shame.

I don't think this card is too shabby; once you get it onto the field, you've got a nice weapon with a very attractive equip cost. I honestly would put this in a deck.

This is a tremendous card in limited or draft. It'll have a huge impact no matter what; attack with it the turn in comes in and either deal them 3 or knock out a creature.

I think this is pretty solid, honestly.
That in the upper right is a bit of a turn-off,
But the near the word "Equip" is definitely pretty,
Which is below something just as pretty: "Living Weapon"
3/5, I'd say.

The 6 in the top is a huge turn-off though. I love paying 2 to give my guy +3/+1 and haste, that's awesome. But 6 for the initial payment hurts unless you managed to draft lots of ramp. (In which case, go for it.)

Saved me a couple times at the prerelease. Far too expensive to ever consider throwing in any of my decks, though.
