In a Beast deck with Ravenous Baloth, you can sacrifice all your Beasts to gain a ton of life, then cast this to get a bunch of new Beasts! For casual only, of course.

Ameisenmeister: This doesn't have 'nontoken' clause, so I think 1 more mana is worth being able to cast it turn after turn without diminishing returns, if opponent wipes repeatedly.

Very nice card, in most cases better then caller of the claw in an elf or green deck. It doesn't have the initial creature like caller of the claw but it gives you creatures for tokens dying and the beasts are 3/3s compared to the 2/2 bears.

Oh noes, they won't cast wrath of god since you have 4 mana open. Then it has done its job, protecting you from board wipes
