What is strange is that I think with Metalcraft activated is that you still tap the creature, then you exile it. XD

Exile for one mana, instant speed. I guess they had to put a condition on it. By the time the stuff that's fun to exile hits the board though you should already be set up to use this.

Between this, Tempered Steel, Indomitable Archangel,Stoic Rebuttal, Argent Sphinx, and Dispense Justice, 
metalcraft is looking pretty sexy.
Is that a sphinx being teleported? Doesn't really look like Chancellor of the Spires or Consecrated Sphinx, but there was some similar looking artwork on Daily MTG by Chippy that was unused on any cards in this block. Maybe they had plans for another sphinx but didn't put it in. Bummers.

A swords without a drawback is excellent but its use will be quite limited to certain decks. makes it balanced, I like it. great card.
