Except for a few things.
1. At least some zombies, vampires, and werewolves are not black, meaning doom blade and this spell have different targets. True, more are targetable by this than by doom blade, but it's still not strictly better.
2. The mana cost is important. {B}{B} is less splashable than {1}{B} even if it doesn't necessarily seem that way.
Still, interesting card.
