Some welcome support for an under-appreciated tribe! Magic has a good deal of workable spiders - try making a control deck with this, Deadly Recluse, Penumbra Spider, Blightwidow, Adaptive Automaton, Arachnus Web, Swarmyard, and Spider Spawning. Proceed to web everything.

Spiders is a fun tribal and I find it kinda funny that its one of those tribals that has never gotten a huge spotlight from wizards considering there's new spiders printed in almost every set. This and Deadly Recluse, Silklash Spider, Penumbra Spider, and Dragonlair Spider are among my favorites. My friends have a habit of singing the spiderman jingle whenever they see me tap a spider with this guy out. Hugely powerful ability and a fat but, solid. 4.5/5

At first, I thought this was pretty... Meh.
Then, I read it again, saw the "Search your Graveyard" part, then promptly slapped myself.

Really cool concept. I like it.
Bit costly though, and it coulda used Hexproof.
Best part is though, with Umbra Mystic, you can give your guys a free life as an instant. That's actually kinda terrifying.

I love this card. Spiders could end up being a fun tribe. Lockdown control in green? As fun as beatdown blue.
What we need is a reprint of Deadly Recluse to cement it. (Swarmyard too, as mentioned.) Some spidery representation in Innistrad? I think they would fit the setting well. I'm sick of elves!

Pretty little fly.
Why does he cry?
Caught in a web.
Soon he'll be... eaten.

Here's hoping Spiders are a tribe in Innistrad.
