Great creature, but I've seen many games where a player just isn't able to deal direct damage or combat damage, and end up having to play bloodthirsty creatures without the bloodthirstiness, and end up losing because their creatures aren't bloodthirsty enough.

Oh well, at least it has that bloodthirst ability to make it worth trying.

These guys are the perfect curve-topper for a Pauper aggro deck. There's not really much else to say. Even if you can't trigger the bloodthirst for some reason, you get a Canyon Minotaur for the same CMC, and that's still adequate for many Limited matches.

This is how Bloodthirst should be. Without it, it's below the mana curve, but with is, it's above.

5/5 for 4 pretty consistently in red, especially with Goblin Fireslinger in the same set(and color, and tribe). Only other common creature I can think of like that without some kind of drawback is Blastoderm. And Blastoderm's awesome.

Ii could never 2tand hiill giiant, liimiited or not, but thii2, even iif you can't get the bloodthiir2t off, make2 me feel a2 though Ii could actually play thii2 card.

Al2o, Cur2e of the Piier2ed Heart really helps thii2, and all bloodthiir2t really, out.

This is the best bloodthirsty card in the set for draft, so amazing, won me a tourney and most matches last weekend
