Nice - red can easily make this a 5/5 for 2RR.

Good riddance to the long list of red 3/3 creatures for 4 with no abilities.

As with Blood Ogre, what an upgrade compared to previous red core set commons with the same cmc. Red suddenly got a whole lot more appealing for the casual player.

I have the feel that the M12 bloodthirst creatures are quite better than the Guildpact ones... Comparing this to Ghor-Clan Savage is so demotivating! I don't know... Sure Guildpact has some of the best bloodthirst (Skarrgan Firebird >>> Furyborn Hellkite imho), but even the worse (Burning-Tree Bloodscale, always imho).

However, this is a simple but effective card, well balanced too!
