It needs to be about 20% cooler.

Okay, sure, but can it clear the skies of Ponyville in ten seconds flat?

The hugest problem with this card, is it makes Pegasuses just look unimpressive, and yet if THIS is a PEGASUS, then what in the hell are all these Birds and Bats doing being so good?!
Pegasus, the Winged Horse should be like, one of the coolest (doesn't have to be the Spike-best) creatures with Flying there are. Nah, I'm not saying it needs Trample and Haste, or Hexproof, or something nuts like that- but it *does need to compare well to uncommon Griffins and Angels.
In short- Creature Type-Pegasus probably just shouldn't exist at common, if we live in a world with 'normal' flying things like Birds and Bats and Bees for crying out loud. Bees! There are Bumblebee cards better than Stormfront Pegasus! (Like Hornet Sting. Which also arguably shouldn't exist.)
Look, Wizards, I like fantasy flavor as much as the next guy, but this sorta looks to me like this card:
Aragorn, Son of Arathorn 4WWW
Creature- Human with a sword

White Pride World Wide!
(No one gets the reference here? I really am shocked, I expected a lot of comments).

It's a fine card! Easy to kill, but I usually don't block with it, and if they can't block it, they'll take 2 every turn :)

@Ptolemis: I'm not sure, but Pegasus Charger certainly can =D

Solid card in draft. I even have a copy in my cube.
The ability to start swinging over the heads of their blockers for points of damage every turn doesn't look too powerful, but in practice it is really nice. All in all it is a very balanced card, and it accomplishes its goal admirably.
