Dear Chandra,
Sorry about what the core set did to your Spitfire. Good to see you're taking it so well.

Good limited burn, particulary since it is common and dishes out enough damage to take on bigger creatures.
The instant speed saves the card, but the cost is obviously high. Check it out in drafts.

Without Chandra's Spitfire, the only use for this is bloodthirst creatures. The problem is that it costs 4, which is too much for you to play it and then a creature on the same turn.
4 is a lot to pay for a burn spell, as even with Lightning Bolt not being reprinted Shock and Incinerate still cost 1/4 and 1/2 of its price, respectively. That makes it really uneffective.
However, its not completely useless. 2 damage for the player packed in the same spell isn't negligible, and this still kills some things that incinerate doesn't, so you may have to resort to it in Limited if you're playing red.

I adore every burn spell which cross 3 damage level such as Char or Flame Javelin

Seems like a card that just struggles to find a good home. Instant-speed 4 damage targeted at a creature is no small thing, especially since Lightning Bolt got the axe for Shock, but between Grim Lavamancer, Chandra, the Firebrand, and a plethora of strong burn spells, this is just too clunky. A 4 CMC one-time burn spell that's can't give you card advantage (unless you have Chandra's Phoenix in your graveyard) just doesn't quite stack up, and a free Shock against one player doesn't make up for that. It gets a little better if you have a Phoenix or two in your graveyard, but that's a pretty situational use, especially given the number of ways of digging them back out Red burn has right now.

It is nice with Bloodthirst.
Sure, the price is steep, but taking out a hardy blocker and dealing two damage at instant speed is probably worth 4 mana, especially if you can follow it up with a High power, low toughness creature to swing into the gap left by the 4 damage you just dropped.
