I guess this means Sorin's home plane is Innistrad. Here's hoping for a Black vs. Black Planeswalker showdown between Sorin and Liliana at some point. Maybe he'll get a variant in the near future.

Not Nearly as good as Zendikar's Vampire Nighthawk. Never thought of how big the difference between uncommon and common could be. Not a bad card, but would rather use Child of Night if i would just be chump blocking due to the cheaper mana cost. I'll use this for the nicer art.

I played with her and I attacked with her. If you have to think twice about attacking then you aren't used to playing Black. Its good that you can trade up for her and still gain 3 life. Now if you had Moment of Heroism then you would be doing a lot more.

Mind, that Dimir girl from Gatecrash also looks very different to the norm. Maybe people are accepting nowadays that there's different kinds of women out there.

@Killer -B: No reason to down rate this card though, 3 for a 3/1 with lifelink and with numerous cards in standard that immitate Giant Growth along with the mono-blackness of this card it works wonderfully with anything Golgari.
It's fairly simple to make this card a game changer, whether it be as a 3 mana kill spell thanks to lifelink making it a card that requires a quick solution and even if that solution is a 1/1 in trade it still gives you the life. Strictly better than cards like Gift of Orzhova or Mark of Vampire, more urgent a threat than Daggerdrome Imp. This card plays in Vamipre Nighthawk and Tithe Drinker's wheelhouse and does it with more versatility and a lower convenience cost to play due to only running at 1 black mana.
