I love how you can use Purify the Grave to keep your opponent from recurring Purify the Grave.
That's some flavor right there.

Wondering why thsi rates so much higher than Coffin Purge, when they are basically the same card, but colour-shifted.

Should have reprinted cremate instead...

perfect for stopping the Spider Spawning/Memory's Journey/Runic Repetition combo in booster draft. actually, any potential graveyard shenanigans, even in standard.

Good. White needed this. Check out Spurnmage Advocate and Shieldmage Advocate.

I apologize, but I've never seen anyone play this... even for Burning Vengeance decks!
It will take out two creatures your opponent may want to resurrect later...
But here's the thing: I rarely see people playing resurrection in Standard. Maybe because of its slow speed, maybe because of its lack of Buried Alive... I dunno.
"Well, maybe Modern?" is something you may say, but I'd rather have Relic of Progenitus solve that problem instead.
I'm sorry, I can't look at this card and say, "I'll play it some day"

I LOVE sideboarding this card in against blue decks, or reanimator decks (and let's face it, a large number of decks you'll run into in standard right now are either reanimator, or using Snapcaster for spell recursion).
Playing Naya, leave one white open.
Opponent - "Flashback Unburial Rites, targeting my Thra-"
Me- "Exile that Thragtusk please."
Opponent - "... pass turn."
I giggle inside every time. Then this card gets to sit in MY graveyard, and I can scare them into not playing with graveyard recursion as long as I leave one white mana open. The instant speed REALLY makes this card, they can never be safe to use their Snapcaster/Unburial Rites shenanigans as long as I can manage to leave just one land untapped at end of my turn. Definitely warrants an inclusion in my sideboard in the current format.

The Avacyn Restored symbol is something I'm noticing in a lot of artwork from the expansions before it. I'm digging it very much, and this card is included.
@DoragonShinzui: Yeah, I meant that I enjoy the flavor of it, ya turd.
